The School of Sciences,Mathematics Department is Visiting Secondary Schools.In line with the preparation of the Rwanda Mathematics Competition 2023 and cerebration of the International Year of Basics Sciences (IYBS) for sustainable development, the department of Mathematics, College of Science and Technology- University of Rwanda is organising the secondary school visits in November, 2022.
The objectives of these visits are to talk with Teachers and young males and females majoring Mathematics about the:
1. Use of mathematics in solving societal problems or community challenges,
2. Career opportunities for people who acquire mathematical and / or Statistical skills in life,
3. Existing different mathematical fields that can interest secondary school students who await to join the university,
and to encourage these students to learn Mathematics through a friendly competition.

The visit is staring at nearest Secondary Schools which are focused on Sciences combinations.Those schools are:

IFAK Kimihurura Secondary School, Lycée Notre Damede Citeau (LNDC), Lycée de KIGALI (LDK)
