NKURUNZIZA PASCAL, Assistant Lecturer,0783475848

Mr. Pascal Nkurunziza holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Systems Engineering obtained from the University of Rwanda in 2014 and a Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Engineering obtained from Hohai University, China in 2018. He has more than 7 years of Experience in Teaching and Research in Higher Learning Institutions. Currently, he is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering, College of Science and Technology, University of Rwanda; and the Academic Associate in the Regional Centre of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering and e-Health.
He is certified in Project Management & Other Tools for Career Development took and Google IT Support Professional. He authored and co-authored more than 5 scientific papers in international journals. He also worked on the project entitled "Inter-Beam Interference Cancellation by 3D Polarized Beamforming in Power Domain NOMA Systems". He recently attended an IEEE Future Networks Initiative workshop on “Forging a Sustainable Path to 6G”.
His attendance and participation in curriculum development organized by the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and active participation in the workshop for the "Pilot project on Digitalizing the Hospital Patient trajectory and the secondary use of EHR in Rwanda gave him insight and enhanced collaboration towards sustainable development. He has experience in leadership and management of small researcher groups.
