lecturer in the physics department at the College of Science and Technology&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
University of Rwanda with five years of working experience. Her&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
expertise is in the fabrication of Nano magnetite particles, biogas, and biochars&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
production using wastes organic matter. She has also basic knowledge of the generation&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
of energy from other renewable energy resources. She has gained knowledge in&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
nuclear energy as well through her visit to the International Atomic Energy&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Agency (IAEA), where she was trained in the development of a curriculum for the&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
nuclear physics program to be taught for undergraduate studies and different&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
laboratory experiments related to nuclear instrumentations. She is keen to become a remarkable researcher&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
and increase the visibility and use of clean energy technologies to reduce&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;

In Research, Dr. Gahamanyi has ten (10) published papers and one book chapter all related to Microbiology. Five of these papers are indexed in PubMed. He is familiar with both routine microbiology practical sessions and also masters the molecular techniques (PCR, electrophoresis, MLST, sequencing).&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Dr. Gahamanyi is a member of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and the Young East African Health Research Scientists (YEARS) forum affiliated with the East African Health Research Commission. &lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Dr. Gahamanyi received a number of awards including the Best Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) Postgraduate student Research Award for the academic year 2020-21 and the First-class with a gold medal after completing MSc in Microbiology at the top of the class (2013).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
