Dr. Pie Basalike is a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, UR-CST and at the same time a researcher in the field of Heat and Gas Supply, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, with much focus on enhancing the heat transfer characteristics of energy conversion machines and some others. Dr. Pie Basalike started working as a Tutorial Assistant at the College of Science and Technology (former KIST), Mechanical Engineering Department, right after he completed his BSc program in Mechanical Engineering in 2011. In 2015, he obtained his Masters degree in sustainable energy systems from Malardalen University (Sweden) and promoted to Assistant Lecturer, a post he had been occupying for nearly seven years. In this time period, he had taught different modules and supervised 8 undergraduate students in their final year projects. During his PhD training (2017-2022) at Dalian University of Technology (China), Dr. Pie Basalike wrote a PhD thesis entitled "Numerical simulation of enhanced heat transfer characteristics of PVT heat pump system under condensation and cooling conditions" from a number of research papers, published in reputable journals.
