Bio:
Dr Ntirikwendera Déogratias is a Rwandan born in 1979 January 29.He is a PhD holder in Materials Sciences and Engineering, with a specialty in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Beijing Institute of Technology, 2016.He has also a master’s degree in Condensed Matter Physics from the same university 2010, and a bachelor of Science in Physics-Chemistry-Education from the former Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) 2004, Currently university of Rwanda, College of Education. Since October 2020 until now, he serves as permanent Lecturer in the department of Physics, School of Science University of Rwanda college of Science and Technology. Prior to that, he served as permanent lecturer of Physics at INES Ruhengeri Institute of Applied Sciences, from September 2010 to May 2020.
Dr Ntirikwendera’s research interest includes Computational Material science,
Hybrid perovskites and Quantum dots for solar cells and energy applications. He also has interested in the fundamental problems of electron, photon, and phonon confinement as well as spin manipulation within 1D nanostructures .Prior to that he has been involved in the Synthesis of new classes of materials and nanostructures, especially Quantum clusters, with an emphasis on developing new synthetic approaches and understanding the fundamental issues of structural assembly and growth that will enable the rational control of material ,from the research Group of Professor Zhang Jia Tao his PhD Supervisor at Beijing Institute of Technology ,China.
