Bio:
Dr. Kazeem is a Senior Lecturer of Structural Engineering and Materials at the Civil, Environmental, and Geomatics Engineering of the University of Rwanda. He holds a BSc. degree in Civil engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, Master’s degree in Civil engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, Master’s degree in pipeline engineering from the Newcastle University, UK, and Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and Materials from the Newcastle University, UK. His main research interests include experimental and finite element Analysis of structural steel, steel structures connections and frames; and recycling and upcycling of expanded polystyrene packaging and insulation waste and other plastic wastes as a polymer binder; and agricultural, industrial, construction and demolition, and mining wastes as aggregates for sustainable and green building and construction materials production. Dr. Kazeem has published 4 conference papers and 29 peer-reviewed journal papers. Dr. Kazeem has supervised 41 final-year undergraduate projects, 27 Master’s projects, and 1 Ph.D. project
