Bio:
Dr. Joseph Nsengimana is a PhD holder in Biotechnology. He received his PhD training at Ghent University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Prior to PhD training, he obtained the MSc degree in Biotechnology from Bharathiar Univesrsity/ India and the Bachelor degree in Organic chemistry from NUR. Dr. Joseph Nsengimana started the teaching carrier in 2002 in former KIST. He was promoted to assisstant lecturer in 2006, then to lecturer in 2009. He has been Twice Head of Applied Biolgy department and later on in 2014 became Head of Biology department with the event of University of Rwanda. Dr. Joseph Nsengimana was the coordinator of MSc in Biodiversity Conservationand &NRM and Focal Point for excahnge program between UR and University of Koblenz/ Germany from October 2019 to February 2023.
