Academic Staff

Dr. Nshogoza is the Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology (UR-CST). He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry - Biology with Education from the Kigali Institute of Education in Rwanda, a master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Xiamen University in China, and a Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has more than 10 years of professional experience including being a Lecturer at the University of Rwanda / College of Science and Technology, Biology Department; Kigali Institute of Education, Institut d’enseignement Superieur de Ruhengeri (INES). Even though he has been and is still a Lecturer, Dr. Gilbert also supervises various projects ranging from Undergraduate, Post-graduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. research projects at different Universities/Colleges in Rwanda. He is interested in drug discovery, environmental pollution, food safety, science education, etc. He published more than 10 papers in international and peer-reviewed journals.
