Bio:
Dr. Jeanne Primitive Uyisenga conducted a joint PhD reseach at the University of Liège and the University of Rwanda. She holds a PhD degree in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Liège; and still wating for her graduation at UR, in Biological Sciences. Her research interests was the identification of genetic and micro-RNAs which could serve in early detection of breast cancer in Rwand ans allow the effective management of the disease. Prior to PhD Training, she obtained her MSc degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2011 and then in MPH in Clinical Research & Epidemiology in 2012 from the University of Louvain in Belgium. She is currently a Lecturer at the UR, Biology department, and involved in 3 inter-colleges collabollation reasearch projects.
