Bio:

Geoffrey Gasore is a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at University of Rwanda- College of Science and Technology. He holds bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kigali institute of science and technology (KIST current university of Rwanda), march 2007. He also holds master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North China Electrical Power University- China, March 2012. He is currently finalizing his PhD in Renewable Energy at African center of excellence in energy for sustainable development. He has successfully conducted a number of consultancy services in areas of renewable energy.
He has attended number of professional trainings and obtained certificates including ISO 50001- Energy Management Systems, ISO 14001- Environmental Management Systems, training on Energy Demand and Supply Planning and Management Tools by International Atomic Energy Agency (Addis Ababa at UN headquarters) and training on Rural Village Micro-grid at Colorado State University (USA). His research interests include Renewable Energy and Power.
He has published seven in international peer reviewed Journals and conferences including;
