Mr. Pascal Hategekimana is an Assistant Lecturer in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at the University of Rwanda- College of Science and Technology with 13 years of experience in teaching and research. He holds a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Kigali institute of science and technology (KIST), current university of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology (UR-CST), and graduated in March 2010. He also holds a Master’s degree in Renewable energy from the University of Agder- Norway and graduated in June 2017. He is currently working on his PhD study in Renewable Energy at the African center of excellence in energy for sustainable development. He has successfully conducted a number of consultancy services in the areas of electrical engineering. Mr. Pascal and his colleagues at the University of Rwanda have one grant from the national commission of science and technology (NCST) in Rwanda. In 2020, Mr. Pascal presented a conference paper at the 2020 International Conference on Smart Grids and Energy Systems (SGES) in Perth, Australia. His research interest includes Renewable Energy, microgrid network, power control, and power electronics.
