Dr.James Rwigema is the Head of Master’s Program at the African Center of Excellence in Internet of Things (ACEIoT) and a Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems , School of ICT , College of Science and Technology, University of Rwanda.
Dr. James received a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering and Information Technology from University of Rwanda college of Science and Technology (Former KIST) in 2008, He obtained a Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from University of Rwanda (former National University of Rwanda “NUR”) in 2013, Dr. James Also has an Advanced Diploma in Mobile Computing from India.
Dr. James obtained a Ph.D Degree in Image Processing using Artificial intelligence and Machine learning Techniques (AI&ML) from Chung-Ang University , Seoul , South Korea in 2020.
Dr. James has published and co-authored a good number of research papers in leading international journals and conferences. His research interests cover most aspects of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Edge and Cloud Computing, internet of things, Intelligent systems , AI in Health(Image Processing) and other related fields.
