Janvier GASUHUKE graduated from University of Rwanda (UR), College of Science and Technology (CST), in the former Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), faculty of Engineering Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology and received a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering in July 2002.
He obtained his Master of Communications Management (MCM) degree studies at UR, the former KIST (Kigali Institute of Science and Technology) in Computer Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) Department in collaboration with UKTA (United Kingdom Telecommunications Academy) and ITU (International Telecommunication Union) in Dec. 2008
His research interests are Computer and Telecommunication Networks, Computer Security, Cyber-security, Data Communication and Computer Network, Cloud Computing Internet of Things (IoT) and other related fields.
He did different trainings like International Training Programme on ICT and Pedagogical Development 2013, Regional Phase, Vadodara, Gujarat State, India (Nov-Dec 2013), International Training Programme on ICT and Pedagogical Development 2013, Training Session, Karlstad and Stockholm, Sweden (May-June 2013), CISCO IT Essentials from AFRALTI (African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute) Nairobi –Kenya , CISCO Networking Academy in CCNA1 Networking Basics & CCNA2 Routers and Routing Basics, CCNA3 LAN Switching and Wireless , training in Research and Teaching Methodology (May 2012), Professional Development in Teaching and Learning Methodology (May 2010), Leadership and Performance Management (Dec 2012).
