Academic Staff

Nsengiyumva Emmanuel is a holder of a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems, got jointly from Pan African University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi/ Kenya, where he graduated in 2018. He also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with honours in Electrical Power Engineering got from the former National University of Rwanda where he graduated with a first-class honour in 2013. He has more than 7 years of experience teaching in higher learning institutions and he is an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at College of Science and Technology / University of Rwanda. He is currently a PhD Student at Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing / China in the field of Energy and Power Engineering / School of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include renewable energy, energy storage, electrical machines, Power systems dynamics control and optimization. Nsengiyumva Emmanuel is a member of the Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER) and he is a certified Professional Engineer in the field of Electrical Power Engineering
