Bio:
Staff of the National University of Rwanda, later the University of Rwanda since 1998. Holder of Master degree in Chemistry from University of Western Cape, RSA in 2001 and PhD degree from the University of Bordeaux 1, France in 2008. Full Professor of chemistry since June 2022. Doing the activity of both undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching. Conduct research activities mainly in the following research interests: (i) Isolation of active ingredients from plant materials and/or Synthesis of environmental frendly biocides for being used in different domains including environmental decontamination, medicines, food and wood preservations and for antioxidant or anti corrosive properties, (ii) Organic environmental analysis for ecological protection and (iii) Research for other environmental friendly technologies for remediating the contaminated environmental components. Supervision: Both undergraduate and postgraduate (Master and PhD students) students are welcome for the supervisory expertise.
