Bio:

Mrs Josiane MUKAYISENGA has Msc in Nematology from Ghent University, she did her master’s thesis on Phenotyping for low temperature prolonged shelf life of oxidative stress tolerant mutants and lines of Heterorhabditis bacteriophora. At E-nema company, German. My research interest is in nematodes: Entomopathogenic nematodes that are used as biological control, Plant parasitic nematodes. She is an assistant lecturer in the Biology department and she is currently teaching biochemistry and supervising final year students’ research in the related field. She holds BSc also in Biology (Biotechnology option) from former Kist. She is also in charge of industrial attachment for Second-year students in Biotechnology and Biochemistry.
